Our Vision:

A healthy and sustainable food culture for people living and working in the Winchester District, regardless of income.

  1. OUR HISTORY

Winchester Food Partnership is a network of community organisations and charities, and representatives from the University of Winchester, academics, city and county councils, health professionals, business owners and individuals; all with a common interest.

Our 5 key themes that run through our work are:

  1. Good food for all
  2.  Strengthen the local economy
  3. Environmental sustainability
  4.  Strong and resilient communities
  5. Fairness in the food chain

The WFP was formed at the end of 2017 and became an official member of the national Sustainable Food Places organisation in March 2019. SFP is a network of cross sector partnerships of towns, cities, boroughs and counties in the U.K. that are using food as a vehicle to transform their local food system. The current SFP campaigns can be found HERE and we are always looking for people and organisations willing to help us start local campaigns and co-ordinate local action.
